Leftover Gravy & Rice Re-invented

It’s really not a good habit to waste food as we all know. But a bigger problem is as to what to do with the leftovers. 

So here’s a small thing that you can do with your ‘Leftover Rice and Gravy’

Things you will need:

  • 1-2 Chopped Spring Onions

  • 1 Finely Chopped Garlic Clove

  • 1/2 Cup Thawed Green Peas

  • 1/2 Cup Chopped French Beans

  • 1 Chopped Carrot

  • 1 Tablespoon Oil

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Method:

  • In a wok or a pan heat oil. (Cook on high flame)

  • Add the chopped ginger and cook until golden brown.

  • One by One add all your veggies and toss it well.

  • Now add your leftover rice and toss well until combined.

  • Add Salt and Pepper to taste.

  • Towards the end add few chopped spring onions.

  • Your simple stir fried rice is ready

  • Now heat your gravy.

  • In a serving platter dish out the stir fried rice, add some crispy golden brown french fries to the side and pour your gravy on top of the rice.

  • Garnish with more spring onions and voila your leftovers have a new look and taste to it
